Annual Report Day
A very good morning to you all.
I feel honoured to extend a hearty welcome to everyone present here for the annual report of the school.
The annual report showcases the achievement and glories of our school undoubtedly, but also makes us think deeply about our shortcomings. We have always been committed to create an environment in the school which helps the young minds to blossom and provide a platform for holistic development of the child’s personality.
We set goals and standards for ourselves and strive to achieve them- be it in the area of academic, sports, discipline, leadership and more.
Every school has its own history of development.
Years back the seed was planted and now the sapling has grown into huge tree. St. Anne’s convent school Mandar is a part of The Daughter of St. Anne Ranchi – Ranchi region. Sr. Prafulit is the pillar of the school who began this blessed task by the request of the parents and permission of the then Sr. Provincial Sr. Victoria Kujur. In the beginning 27 students were admitted. They are the corner stone of the school. Since building was not there they began it in the hostel premises.
With the hard work of sisters school gradually went on developing. Number of the students began to increase. The construction of the building began and still going on. In the year 2016 school went under inspection by the state education department and obtained NOC (no objection certificate). And then school got affiliation in 2017 from CBSE, Delhi by the extreme hard work of Sr. Mary Toppo, Sr. Asrelian Kujur, Sr. Xaveria Kujur and present staff. We also do not forget to thank our well wishers and guides.

Almost one and half year the school has completed its journey after affiliation. We find the school has gone through lots of changes. All the facilities school has edeavour to avail. We have spacious library containing more than 3000 books, encyclopedia, and 25 kinds of magazines every month. We have a composite science lab where students simplify their understanding towards the world of science.

The school has a good computer lab equipped with 27 computers. Through the practical and theory knowledge students are coming close to the wi-fi connection and with social media too.

Sports and games are essential part of the teaching learning process. This occupies a place of importance in our curriculum. Our students actively participate in different sports, competitions and develop self confidence.
‘Strength does not come from physical capacity, it comes from unity.’
The students of the school are divided into four different houses. Each house is managed by a teacher and students having a house captain and a house vice captain. House performs its duty of conducting the day-to-day activities, competitions in systematic and disciplined manner.

With the passing of time students are given awareness program to cope with the present life situations. Even resource persons for the motivational classes were arranged. Through these classes students learn to focus their goals and study with concentrated minds. Good results were experienced about it.

The school magazine ‘TOWARDS HORIZON’ is a great platform to excel the writing task of the students. Magazine widens the knowledge of the budding writers. It is also a glance of whole year’s activities. It also contains the success and achievements of the school.
The school activities have its own respective place. Without these we cannot imagine of school. The coordinator of the school arranges various activities by which a child develops physically, morally, socially, mentally and to hone skills in co-scholastics areas.
Many milestones have been achieved and many still have to be reached. We at St. Anne’s Convent School, Mandar will continue our unceasing efforts to mould the young minds into well balanced personalities with confidence and zeal benefitting the standards of this portal of education.
We also humbly salute our visionary sisters of the past and great ones of the present and seek divine grace and blessings to guide us in all our endeavours.
